Kickoff of the NCM on site event season – Bash traditionally marks the roll out of the next model year Corvette; the place where you can see them up close and in detail.  Bash 2016 will provide enthusiasts the chance to see the new 2017 Corvette Stingray up close as well as getting all the latest information about the all new 7th Generation Corvette.  Seminars will feature speakers discussing ‘What’s new in the 2017 model year’, the award winning body structure, as well as using your 7th generation navigation system.  As in past years there will be a large contingent of GM engineers and designer from Warren Tech Center, Milford Proving Ground and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant ready to answer your every question.  Also back to Bash is our LT4 Engine building demonstration by BGAP Rob Nichols and Brian Lee.

Returning activities include a seminar and classroom sessions by GM certified Corvette Technicians Paul Koerner & Brittany George. Enjoy some guided road tours, two celebrity choice car shows, the Ladies’ Oasis, and the expanded Garage Party with women of the GM Corvette Team. The ladies will cover all aspects of Corvettes including maintenance, engineering and even high performance driving. Some returning activities include Golf with GM Team.

On-line registration closes at 8:00am central time on Wednesday, April 13. There are no refunds for the event or event activities after 8:00am central time Wednesday, April 13.All activities are open to Event Registrants only. On-line registrants will receive a hardcard credential, lanyard, event pin and dash plaque. Lifetime Bash registration is $15pp, member Bash registration is $20pp and non-member Bash registration is $30pp.

Paul will discuss in this open forum the development of technology for Corvette over the years.  How did the mechanic fuel injection systems of the 50s and 60s pave the way for Direct fuel injection??  How did the Cadillac V8/6/4 lead cylinder deactivation to Corvette well before its time?  And how did the computer networking of 2004 XLR show us just what Corvette could be???? Paul will also discuss and simplify the evolution of technology within Corvette and then he will answer your questions about any Generation of Corvette technology and how it all really interrelates.

C6, most consider this generation of Corvette an evolution on the c5, but in truth, diagnostics of electronics changed completely with the entry of this generation in 2005.  LS2, LS3, LS7 and the powerhouse during this generation LS9, were all amazing engines.  DO LS7 really have massive issues?  I THINK NOT, and we will explain why. Service active handling, air bag lights and other issues have diagnostic process that can be scary to many owners.  We will simplify the correct way to diagnose issues with your C6 and show you that is just not as scary as internet may lead you to believe.
