2021 MiM ‘Branson Experience’

June 1 – 5, 2021

How about a ‘Museum in Motion” to the legendary Branson, MO?!! Its 76 Country Boulevard is famously lined with theaters, which once hosted mostly country music performers but today present diverse entertainment. Stay at the Hotel Grand Victorian. Centrally located on the 76 Strip, less than 3 miles from world class shopping at the Branson Landing, and walking distance from all of the best shows, restaurants, and attractions.

This MiM will include a day drives to beautiful Eureka Springs as well as a Dogwood Canyon drive. Enjoy ‘The Showboat Branson Belle Dinner Cruise and a #1 Hits of the 60’s show. Free time is also on the agenda to explore Branson as you wish!

Dancers bring back the grooves of classic crazes like The Pony, Mashed Potato, and The Batman. The show takes you back in time with over 100 costume changes, groovy songs, dance numbers, and video segments highlighting historic moments of the 60’s with an included tribute to our veterans. Test your knowledge in the trivia segment and enjoy the show!

You’ll wind through the canyon floor, past towering bluffs and waterfalls, making a stop at the Glory Hole (a magnificent blue-green pool where some of our largest trout reside). Then cross the Arkansas border where your tram may mingle with herds of American bison, elk, whitetail deer and Texas longhorn

2021 NCM 27th Anniversary Celebration
Thursday September 2nd – Saturday September 4th

In the almost 3 decades since the Museum opened, the scope of the vision has blossomed to include changes such as the dedicated special exhibit hall, dedicated PDI delivery area, restoration area, full-service store, interactive exhibits and a full Motorsports park.

Every year around the Labor Day weekend we celebrate the Grand Opening of the Museum in 1994 with a participant focused event.  This year we mark the 27th Anniversary milestone and focus on the diversity of the people that Corvette has brought together for a look back on the Museum’s history and forward to the future! Registered participants can enjoy 3 days of activities in and around the Museum including access to interesting and unique road tours, special video presentations, raffles, and more during this event in honor of your help and support!

Museum in Motion Tours bring Corvette enthusiasts together to enjoy driving their Corvettes and visiting new, unique, interesting and exciting venues. Join us as we explore our some of the most unique and awe-inspiring landscapes America has to offer. With visits to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, Glen Canyon Dam, Monument Valley, and Canyonlands National Park we you will get to enjoy some of the crown jewels of the National Park system

Bryce Canyon, which despite its name, is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. Bryce sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet.

The two organizations will join to raise money for both the Museum and Trooper Island, a KSP non-profit camp for underprivileged children. Each year the Tour explores a different section of Kentucky. As always, the tour will be led by TPR. Jonathan Biven – Trooper Island Camp Director in the KSP’s  silver Corvette which always attracts attention as the caravan travels through an area of real Americana.  This year are discovering attractions in and around beautiful Elizabethtown, KY!

In 2008 we began a tradition of honoring our veterans with a new event, Vets ‘n Vettes. Thursday kicks off with a full day at the NCM Motorsports Park. Complimentary lunch served to all courtesy of Don Franklin Chevrolet! We will celebrate Friday and Saturday with road tours, the Bowling Green Veteran’s Day Parade, and lunch at the local VFW, the event offers veterans, servicemen and women and those who want to support them, a comfortable place to meet and share stories and experiences.
