The National Corvette Museum is unlike most other museums in the world. Though located in Bowling Green, Kentucky – the Museum is proud to have members from all across the country and even internationally. In an effort to bring the Museum to the enthusiasts, a selection of excursions are offered each year. Branded “Museum in Motion”, the program features tours around the United States as well as Canada, England and France. The Museum in Motion events combine the fun of driving, socializing with other Corvette enthusiasts, sightseeing and visiting unique places – including many V.I.P. and behind the scenes opportunities that only the Museum can get you.

Past tours have taken participants into places not usually accessible to the public including Milford Proving Grounds, Consumer Reports Auto Test Division, GM Heritage Center, and Pratt & Miller.

Thanks to the generosity of Lance Miller, we are excited to announce the Poker Run will now visit his Private Car Collection at his garage in Carlisle, PA. Afterwards, we will stop at the nearby US Army Heritage Center which houses a collection of exhibits both inside and outside focusing on conflicts over the years and the US Army role past and present. Numerous exhibits and equipment outside include tanks, helicopters, weapons and structures dating from the French and Indian War, through the World Wars, Korea and Vietnam. Please note that masks are currently required inside the Heritage Center.

Following the tours you are invited to have lunch (at your expense) at Duke’s Riverside restaurant, overlooking the Susquehanna River. Directions to the restaurant will be provided with your Poker Run packet.

Participants will pick cards for their Poker hand at several locations during the run. The prize for the best poker hand will be awarded at the Friday evening dinner. Estimated mileage for the event is 75 miles.

The Poker Run will start with a driver’s meeting at the AACA Museum parking lot on Friday at 8 am and will finish in plenty of time to relax before the Corvette Racing Dinner.

Tickets are $35 per person and limited to 60.
