SKYWALL Specifications
For images to look their best on the SKYWALL, it is important that high-quality and high-resolution photos, videos, and graphics are provided. While each case may be different, below are a few tips for selecting images for your SKYWALL display.
Photos
- Original photography is best.
- Photos that are pulled from a webpage have often been compressed and lowered in quality.
- The minimum size for photos are 840×840 pixels. You can find this information by right-clicking on your chosen image and selecting ‘Properties’ or ‘Get Info’.
- File types that are accepted include: .JPG, .JPEG, .BMP, .GIF, .PNG, .WMF, .PIC
Videos
- Just like with photos, original file sources work best for video.
- Videos should be HD quality resolution or higher for best results in a 16:9 ratio or 1920×1080 pixels.
- File types that are accepted include: .AVI, .ASF, .WMV, .FLV, .MKV, .MOV, .3GP, .MP4, .MPG, .MPEG, .TS, .WEBM, .NVF, .M4V
Graphics
- Logos should be hi-res with a minimum resolution of 150dpi.
- The minimum size for logos is 400×400 pixels. You can find this information by right-clicking on your chosen image and selecting ‘Properties’ or ‘Get Info’.
- Logos and similar graphics should be sent as vector files (.ai or .eps formats) if possible, or as a .png with a transparent background.
- Please send any brand guidelines, specifically as it pertains to color. Examples include, but are not limited to, HEX codes and Pantone (PMS) codes.
