Welcome to the 2024 Southeast Corvette Caravan

Meet Your Captains

Ken Turner

My name is Ken Turner and I am from Lafayette, LA and proud to serve as the Louisiana Captain for the Caravan to the 30th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I am a Lifetime Museum Member and I have a 2014 Cyber Grey Z-51 Coupe. Since getting it, I have been riding it to Bowling Green twice a year, until 2020.  2024 will be my 3rd Caravan trip, and second time as Louisiana Captain.  It’s a great time to spend with several thousands of your closest Corvette friends.  I am happily married to my wife of 30 years, Julie.  We have 4 children and 2 grandsons.  We are members of the Bayou State Corvette Club.  I am on the waiting list for a C8 Z06 and will probably taking Museum Delivery when my car gets built.  We are working to put together a great experience for the ride from Louisiana to the Museum.

Doug Jenkins

I (Doug Jenkins) was the Captain of the 2019 Caravan. This caravan is the Southeast Caravan which covers the state of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and North Florida. We have a big area, and we are expanding our team of leaders. Our caravan is going to focus on the “corvette experience”. That experience includes driving our cars, sharing ideas, showing off our cars and enjoying some great fellowship. Our goal is to do all of this while heading to the National Corvette Museum, where we will gather with more like minded folks and where we can share more stories while making some new ones. We are welcoming corvette drivers and friends to join us for the 2024 Caravan. Email me at [email protected]. Text or call me at 901-497-8560.
