Le Mans

New to the NCM Event schedule is a special, limited-space tour to France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Here is the chance to see Corvette Racing against the world’s best GT cars in the most famous race of all. Just a few highlights of the tour include three days in the City of Lights with a visit to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower, a day at the Palace of Versailles, an evening ride on the Seine in the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches, a guided day-trip to World War II sights including Normandy and Omaha beaches, and so much more. We will have a professional guide with us the entire trip to assist with our travels. After four nights in Paris and a night in Normandy we will travel to Angers where we will stay throughout the Le Mans race.

The next three days will have us visiting the Le Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans track) as well as the town, with side tours of Angers and the surrounding area with our guide for those who want a break from the track events. Monday we depart Angers and travel back to Paris for one last night, with stops along the way in the Loire Valley. Check out of our hotel and continue with your plans of either more travel or to the airport. Hotels, ground transportation, tour tickets, all breakfasts, three dinners, Le Mans race tickets and Corral tickets are included. We have a very limited number of openings so make your plans early to join us in making memories, new friends, and seeing beautiful France.

2016 NCM 22nd Anniversary Celebration and Hall of Fame Induction
September 1-3, 2016

Corvette Hall of Fame

In the 2 decades since the Museum opened the scope of the vision has blossomed to include changes such as the dedicated special exhibit hall, dedicated PDI delivery area, full service store, interactive exhibits and a full motorsports park.

Every year around the Labor Day weekend we celebrate the Grand Opening of the Museum in 1994 with a participant focused event.  This year we mark the 22nd Anniversary milestone and focus on the diversity of the people that Corvette has brought together for a look back on the Museum’s history and forward to the future!  Registered can enjoy 3 days of activities in and around the Museum including access to interesting and unique road tours, special video presentations, raffles, the annual open Membership meeting and more during this event in honor of your help and support! The event will also include the Lifetime/VIP dinner, 10/15/20-year member recognition, Ambassador Luncheon, and the “Corvette Hall of Fame” Induction Ceremony and banquet where we will induct new members into the prestigious and elite group of recipients who have made a significant contribution to Corvette history.

Hall of Fame inductees for 2016 are Bob Bondurant, Ralph Kramer, and Donna Mae Mims. Individual seating and group tables are available.

Street Survival @ NCM Motorsports Park
Sep 17 @ 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Street Survival @ NCM Motorsports Park | Bowling Green | Kentucky | United States

The Tire Rack Street Survival school is a safe teen program designed to go beyond today’s required driver’s education and give teens across the U.S. the driving tools and hands-on experience to become safer, smarter drivers. Trained and qualified in-car driving instructors as well as classroom experience for each student.

The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a “hands-on” driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too.

It’s about more than driving – it’s about LIVING!
