Three New Board Members Named

The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky has announced three representatives to join the museum’s Board of Directors.

Glenn Johnson

Glenn Johnson of Port Neches, TX is a Vietnam era veteran of the United States Navy. Upon completing his tour of duty, Johnson resumed employment with Texaco, Inc. and attended Lamar University where he earned his degree in accounting. After a series of joint ventures between Texaco and Saudi Refining, Johnson retired in 2005. Johnson is currently Mayor of Port Neches, TX and is active in his community having been involved with the Chamber of Commerce; Port Neches Economic Development Corporation; City Council; Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission; Junior Achievement of the Golden Triangle; his credit union Board of Directors; member of American Legion Post No. 7 and Port Neches Masonic Lodge No. 1163. Johnson and wife Andrea are Lifetime Members of the National Corvette Museum, serving as Master Ambassadors to the Tri-City Corvette Club of SE Texas. Johnson also served as the Gulf States Region Captain for the 2014 National Corvette Museum Corvette Caravan.

Dave Tatman

Dave Tatman

Dave Tatman of Rockfield, KY is the executive director of the Kentucky Automotive Industry Association. Previously, Tatman was general manager of the General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant and during his tenure served on the Museum’s Board of Directors as the GM Corvette Plant representative. Tatman joined GM as a college graduate in training in 1980 and progressed through several locations and leadership positions in the U.S., Canada and South America, serving GM for 34 years. He worked at the Bowling Green plant from 2010 until his retirement from GM in 2014, leading the successful launch of the seventh generation Corvette. Tatman has “paid forward” in all of his assignments by getting involved in his local communities through United Way, local Chamber of Commerce, church activities and economic development boards.

Wes Wong

Wesley Wong

Wesley Wong of Ocean, NJ was appointed a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in October, 1976. Upon completion of training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Wong was assigned to the New York Office with initial responsibilities involving investigations of organized crime and Asian gang matters. After 9/11, Wong provided operational support to the Bureau’s counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism mission. During his career, Wong was involved in the investigations of John Gotti, the 1993 World Trade bombing, TWA 800, the 2000 Millennium bomb plot, and 9/11, where he was the senior FBI on-scene commander at Ground Zero. Wong retired from the FBI in 2006 and is currently a Senior Advisor to the Special Operations Command and an Adjunct Professor on Counter-Terrorism at the Air Force Special Operations School. Wong is a staple at many Museum events, often giving seminars on 9/11 and personal safety topics. He and wife Jeanean Davis are Corvette owners, Corvette Racing fans and Lifetime Members of the Museum.

The National Corvette Museum is a member-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit located at 350 Corvette Drive in Bowling Green, KY just off I-65 exit 28 and is open daily, 8am to 5pm CT.
