The National Corvette Museum Collections Facility represents the next chapter in preserving and sharing the history of America’s Sports Car. Designed to provide expanded space for vehicles, artifacts, archives, and educational resources, the new facility will help ensure Corvette history remains accessible for future generations.
For more than 30 years, the National Corvette Museum has preserved the stories, innovations, and people that have shaped Corvette’s legacy. While visitors experience many of those stories through exhibits and programs, much of the Museum’s collection remains behind the scenes. The Collections Facility will provide a dedicated home for more of the cars, artifacts, and archival materials that document Corvette’s past and inspire its future.
Thanks to the incredible support of Members, donors, Corvette clubs, and enthusiasts, nearly $2.9 million in pledges and gifts has already been committed toward the project. This remarkable level of support reflects the passion of the Corvette community and its commitment to preserving automotive history.
A Permanent Legacy
As construction continues, supporters have a unique opportunity to become part of our Collections Facility’s permanent story. Individuals, families, Corvette clubs, and organizations that contribute $1,000 or more by July 1, 2026, will be recognized on the permanent donor wall inside our Collections Facility. The donor wall will honor those who helped make this important project possible and supported the Museum’s mission to preserve Corvette history.
Why Our Collections Facility Matters
Every Corvette and artifact in the Museum’s collection helps tell the story of America’s Sports Car. Our Collections Facility will provide enhanced preservation capabilities while creating a permanent home for more of the vehicles and artifacts that define Corvette’s legacy. The facility will:
- Expand preservation space for Corvettes and artifacts
- Improve long-term care and storage conditions
- Support the Museum’s growing collection
- Strengthen the Museum’s ability to preserve Corvette history for future generations
Behind every Corvette and artifact is a story worth preserving. Our Collections Facility will help ensure those stories remain protected for decades to come.
Join the Legacy
The Corvette community has already helped make this project a reality. Now, there is an opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the future of Corvette preservation.
