Museum in Motion Tours bring Corvette enthusiasts together to enjoy driving their Corvettes and visiting new, unique, interesting and exciting venues. The Museum events season kicks off with a tour originating in Daytona Beach and ending with the Daytona Rolex 24. The first race of the 2018 WeatherTech season is a must for race fans as well as for the serious competitors.

Tour participants will visit unique Florida attractions before settling in for 3 days of immersion in Corvette Racing at Daytona as part of the Corvette Corral.

MiM ‘Plantation Tour’

NCM ‘Museum in Motion” is heading to New Orleans. We want you to spend Easter weekend with your family – then it’s time to hop in the Corvette and head to New Orleans. Officially starting Tuesday evening, Tuesday, April 3 – come visit a place where centuries old architecture is the backdrop for a culture so invigorating, it will arouse your spirit. New Orleans neighborhoods are where the culture and creativity of the Crescent City come to life. From the historic French Quarter to the elegant Garden District to the music-filled Marigny, there is great food, music and more to be found all across the city.

Special thanks go to NCM Lifetime Members Neil & Brenda Bertucci for helping us plan and showing us around their beautiful city.

April 26-28, 2018

The Bash marks the beginning of the NCM on-site event season and is one of our largest annual events.

Activities include scenic road tours including visits to old favorites and new attractions, special seminars, 2 Car Shows, autograph sessions, access to Customer Assistance Center, talk to the CorvetteMechanic, participate in a raffle drawing, and win memorabilia at a live benefit auction.  Also back by popular demand are the Women’s Garage Party presented by women engineers from GM, This event will see the return of members of the Corvette Race Team, the always popular Ladies’ Oasis, and the Bash banquet.  You also have the opportunity to participate in NCM golf with members of the Corvette design team and Corvette Racing.

Join us at our new Motorsports Park for touring laps. Feel free to go over and watch as Corvettes they take to the track to learn what their cars can do

MiM Dragon Run @ Biltmore Estate

Spring in the Smokies, Tail of the Dragon and Biltmore all combined in one great MiM tour. Once again we hit the road, leaving Bowling Green and heading East to run the famous TN-129, aka Tail of the Dragon. This year again, we will be staying at the beautiful Biltmore Inn on the Biltmore Estate grounds. The Monday Biltmore visit includes a specially arranged early morning photo op of the cars in front of the manor house followed by breakfast in the Biltmore Stable Café adjacent to the house. Included in our Biltmore plans are your choice of 1 specialty tour: The Legacy of the Land Tour, Rooftop Tour, Wine & Chocolate, Upstairs/Downstairs Tour or the Horse & Carriage Ride. Lunch will be at the Deer Park Restaurant on the grounds. After hours – enjoy a special private guided tour of the Mansion. New friends will be made while enjoying one of the most beautiful areas of the country during the colorful spring season. GPS as well as two-way radios highly recommended!

Adjacent to Biltmore House, the stable, which originally housed George Vanderbilt’s horses and carriages, has been renovated into a beautiful restaurant. This special venue offers seating in former stalls and the hayloft area where we will be seated.

The National Corvette Museum hosts the C4 Gathering along with the ZR-1 Net Registry http://www.zr1netregistry.com/, and the Grand Sport Registry http://www.grandsportregistry.com/.  Open to all those interested in the 4th Generation Corvette, these two organizations and the NCM are working to bring participants activities, seminars,  and information specific to their interest in this generation of Corvette.

With no limit on the number of Corvettes joining us, you get to pick you own road tours each day. We will be offering 3 guided road tours daily from Monday – Wednesday. Some long – some short! You pick the tours that may be of interest to you. Or … you can stay back, play some golf or play at the waterpark and just enjoy the resort if you want! This is your vacation to do what you want to do. Be very involved – or be very laid back!!

Chula Vista Resort is only minutes away from all the exciting attractions that have made the Dells area famous. From antiques and art to cheese and fudge. Gift shops and outlet malls as well as museums, distilleries, golf and gaming. WI Dells has it all!

‘SCENIC’ – This will be a relaxed, leisurely drive through the countryside. Take in the scenery and the beauty of the land and enjoy the sights of the countryside driven in a relaxed manor

‘SPIRITED’ – These tours are for drivers (and their co-pilot) who are confident in themselves and their cars and who enjoy driving in a more aggressive manor as the opportunity presents itself on a tour. Slower, more cautious drivers should either drive from the back of these tours or limit themselves to ‘scenic’ tours for maximum enjoyment of everyone.

Our first stop will be Al Ringling Mansion. You will be taken on a tour by the mansion owner himself, who is a true circus performer and lover of the history of the home and the circus. Then take a tour of Driftless Glenn Distillery before lunch. Walk next door to Circus World. Included will be a guided tour as well as several events ending with a Big Top Circus. Then on to the Baraboo Candy Company to satisfy that afternoon sweet tooth. End at Dells Raceway Park for some enjoyable track time.

8:30am – 3:00pm Monday Tour 2 – Frank Lloyd Wrights Taliesin – $65 – ‘SPIRITED’

This tour will start with a 1 ½ hr. spirited drive in the country. Then enjoy a 2-hour tour of Frank Lloyd Wright private resident, Taliesin. A work in progress for over 48 years! By passing through these magnificent spaces, you will experience the intimacy and genius of one of America’s greatest architects. End the tour at a near-by local restaurant, Shifflets Bar and Riverside Grill.

Lambeau Field stadium tour allows fans to experience the Packers’ history-rich facility first-hand and see several behind the scenes areas, such as private suites, go to field level and walk thru the players tunnel, visiting team lockers room, south end zone and see some of the stadiums premium levels to see the best views of Lambeau Field. Lunch at 1919 Kitchen & Tap on Lambeau Fields 1st floor atrium. Before heading back – visit the Hall of Fame which provides guests with an innovative approach to exploring the history of the Green Bay Packers.

Drive a scenic drive on the backroads through the hills of southern Wisconsin. Arena Cheese provides a viewing area so you can watch their artesian cheese makers making different varieties of cheeses. Samples provided! Lunch at Rookies sports bar. You’ll be amazed what is mounted on the walls and ceilings! Following lunch – you will head to Spurgeon Vineyards and Winery. Sample fine wines, tour the winery, and relax on their deck with a glass of wine.

10:00pm – 1:30pm Wednesday Tour 3 – Devils Lake & Winery – $25 – ‘SPIRITED’

Devil’s Lake State Park is the biggest state park in Wisconsin. You will stop at Baraboo Winery to enjoy tour and tasting. Then you’ll be taken inside the park and down along the water’s edge before rounding the lake and traveling up winding roads though the forest on the other side of the lake. Lunch at Fitz’s on the Lake.

Take a river tour by amphibious vehicles called DUCKs. Original Wisconsin Ducks deliver fun and adventure on land and water! The classic duck tour splashes into the Wisconsin River and Lake Delton, climbs over sand bars, and traverses over four miles of exclusive scenic wilderness trails, and has been thrilling passengers for 70 YEARS and counting,

2018 NCM LeMans Tour

Join us on our 3rd adventure to France for the 24 Hours of LeMans race.  Here is the chance to see Corvette Racing against the world’s best GT cars in the most famous race of all. Just a few highlights of the tour include three days in the City of Lights with a visit to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower, a visit to the Palace of Versailles, Dinner and Show tickets at the renowned Moulin Rouge Production, an evening dinner in the Eiffel Towers 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant, Cruise on the Seine in the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches, a guided day-trip to World War II sights including Normandy and Omaha beaches, US Cemetery, and so much more. We will have a professional guide with us the entire trip to assist with our travels. After four nights in Paris and a night in Caen, we will travel to Angers where we will stay throughout the Le Mans race.

The next three days will have us visiting the Le Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans track) as well as the town. Monday we depart Angers and travel back to Paris for one last free day. Check out of our hotel and continue with your plans of either more travel or to the airport.  Hotels, ground transportation, tour tickets, all breakfasts, three dinners, Le Mans admission and grandstand race tickets and Corral tickets are included.  We have a very limited number of openings so make your plans early to join us in making memories, new friends, and seeing beautiful France.

Travel by motorcoach to Palace of Versailles to visit the famous palace and grounds. Built by Louis XIV, this palace is the largest in Europe and is noted for its extensive gardens.

Afternoon –  enjoy an afternoon cruise onboard a Bateau-Mouches for a tour of Paris on the River Seine. The perfect way to discover Paris in style.

Evening – board motorcoach to Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking view of Paris at night. Located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, Alain Soulard’s 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant is famous for its panoramic views overlooking the Trocadero area of Paris. With windows spanning the entire restaurant, this dinner spot has one side that faces the city and another that looks out onto the intricate metal design of the Eiffel Tower.

2018 NCM LeMans Race Weekend!
June 16-17, 2018

Attention GT and Prototype Race Fans of ALL Marques!!

On June 16-17, 2018 the world’s greatest car manufacturers will battle at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Through special arrangements with the ACO, we will be given commercial free, direct feed of the race.

We are planning to show the race on our 28-foot giant screen in the Chevrolet Theater, with live timing and scoring, refreshments during the entire 24 hours, private Skypes from the Corvette Racing team and also with ‘The Hero’s of LeMans’. This will be the next best thing to being there yourself!

Registration for this event is $150 per person and will include:

  • 24 hour opening of the NCM’s Theater for viewing purposes
  • Early opening of NCM on Saturday, June 16
  • Continental breakfast Saturday / Full breakfast Sunday
  • Box lunch on Saturday at noon
  • Pasta dinner Saturday evening
  • Midnight Ice Cream bar
  • Cash bar will be open Saturday from 5:15pm – 7:00pm
  • Snacks & refreshments provided all 24 hours

Security will cover the front grass circle entrance door (parking lot A entrance) from 5:00pm – 8:00am so you are free to come and go at your leisure. RV parking is allowed in the truck parking lot for this event only. Bring in your sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc. for an all night stay in the NCM. All activities are open to Event Registrants only.

Space will be very limited – early pre-registration is of the essence!
