Hello Corvette Enthusiasts – We did it in 2014, 2019 and we are going to do it again in 2024!

Ed Saari and Glen Rowe will once again be the Captains of the North Central Corvette Caravan combining the states of Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin UP Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, a as well as Central Canada.

The 2014 and 2019 North Central Caravans were very successful and 2024 promises to be even a more awesome event. Tentative Schedule of Events

Sunday, August 25, 2024

Groups from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Central Canada will travel to Chula Vista Resort for a day of fun on Sunday afternoon and Monday. The address of Chula Vista Resort is 1000 Chula Vista Parkway, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965. Chula Vista Resort is one of the Midwest’s premier resorts and an ideal overnight/staging site for participants who want to take a day to relax and unwind before the trek to Bowling Green.
Hotel reservations will open soon. Register early for your choice of locations, views, room types, etc. as we anticipate a sell out of the Resort. There will be a free cook-out at the Tavern on the Golf Course for all registered participants on Sunday evening, August 25. In addition, all food stops on the trip mentioned are included in each registered participants registration.

Monday, August 26, 2024

There will be a full day of optional self-guided tours to amazing local places of interest and other free activities including track time for individuals at Dells Raceway Park, a 1/3 mile paved, banked racetrack. There are no requirements to drive on the track: it will be just you, your Corvette and the track! Chula Vista Resort will host the Caravan with a free cocktail hour and elaborate buffet dinner.

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

There will be a breakfast buffet for all participants from 7:00-9:00AM. At approximately 9:00am, the Caravan will depart for Bloomington, IL for lunch at Lemans Chevy City, the site of the Bloomington lunch in 2014 and 2019. Continue traveling down I-39 in Wisconsin. In addition, Caravans from lower Wisconsin, the Chicago area and Iowa will caravan from their areas to Bloomington. Depart for Effingham, IL. Dinner and entertainment at Mid America Motorworks beginning at 5:00PM to avoid the long lines that occurred in 2019. Overnight in Effingham, IL.

Depart for Evansville, IN. Lunch at Ellis Park Race Track in Evansville, IN (as we did in 2014). Depart for Bowling Green, KY for the 30th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum.
