Welcome to the Atlantic Caravan

Officially the Atlantic Corvette Caravan consists of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the New York City area, but we are much more than that. All are welcome to join the Atlantic Caravan, no matter where you call home, no matter if you belong to a Club or not, and regardless of your National Corvette Museum membership status. NCM membership is encouraged, but it is not a requirement for the event.  This is NOT a local Club hosting this event, you do not need to be in a Club to participate, all are welcome, as this is the local contingent of the larger National event. What makes this group unique is that we begin our journey to Bowling Green by starting at the world’s largest Corvette Show, Corvettes at Carlisle. As such we have owners from all over the world join this Caravan since they are in Carlisle ahead of our departure. So, it does not matter if you are new to the Corvette hobby or if you are returning for another Caravan journey. All of us, first-timers and veterans, are looking forward to making memories to last a lifetime! The Atlantic Caravan has its roots all the way back to the first Corvette Caravan in 1994, and three of the National Chairmen for the event are from this region. We have a strong history with the Caravan and that will continue to 2024, the 7th National Corvette Caravan.

Meet the Team

Jeffrey “Zipity” Duda, along with Phyllis & Noelle Duda
Atlantic Captains

Jeff & Phyllis attended their first National Corvette Caravan in 2003 to celebrate the 50th Model Year of the Corvette and the rest they say is history. From there Jeff went onto become the 2009 Co-Captain for the Atlantic (New Jersey was the name in 2009) and yet again the Captain for the 2014 Atlantic Caravan. For the 2019 National Corvette Caravan, Jeff was asked by the Museum to lead the event for the entire Country. Jeff was named the 2019 National Chairman for Corvette Caravan and worked with Captains from across the Country to coordinate the event.

So, for 2024, Jeff is BACK! Working on the local level to lead the Corvette owners to Bowling Green in style and making more memories along the way. Jeff, Phyllis and Noelle are all Lifetime Members of the National Corvette Museum and reside in Hainesport, NJ. They are active members of The Original Garden State Corvette Club. Original Owner of 2004 Le Mans Blue Commemorative Edition ZO6 and 2019 Shadow Gray Coupe.

P.T. Williamson
New Jersey Local Leader

I have been a Corvette enthusiast ever since I sat in one as a child. Attaining my dream in 1999 by purchasing a light pewter 2000 hardtop. I’m currently driving my fourth new Corvette in many different venues. I have been an Original Garden State Corvette Club member since January of 2000 and a National Corvette Museum member for the past twenty years. My first big event was the 50th anniversary of the Corvette, held by General Motors in Nashville TN. I have been a New Jersey Corvette Caravan Local Leader starting in2009 through 2019 and look forward to helping make the 2024 Corvette Caravan a success. I currently live in Mullica Hill, NJ and proud owner of 2003 Electron Blue Z06 and 2019 Elkhart Lake Blue Z06.

Bill was on the 2019 Atlantic Caravan and even though Cindy wasn’t able to make that trip Bill made sure he shared his experience with Cindy along the way. With the 2024 trip approaching they both decided to get involved with this event and make it a memorable trip not only for themselves but also for everyone else on the trip. They are both members of the Original Garden State Corvette Club and have been actively involved with the club since 2017 doing what they can to help at shows and other events. Bill has always had a passion for cars and especially the Corvette owning a C4 when he was younger and now the C7. Having a love for cars and Corvettes is something that he shares with his father who owned a 1958 Corvette and has always regretted getting rid of that. Bill & Cindy are proud Corvette Museum members and reside in Sewell, NJ.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the National Corvette Caravan?

It is a national road trip from all points across North America to converge in Bowling Green, Kentucky to celebrate the milestone anniversary of the National Corvette Museum. In 2024, the Museum will celebrate 30 years.

Do I need to be a member of a Corvette Club or the Corvette Museum to participate?

No, anyone can attend the Caravan as long as they are registered for the event.

I don’t live in the Atlantic Caravan region; can I still register for the Atlantic Caravan?

Yes, it does not matter where you live, you can register to drive with the Caravan of your choice.

Is there a registration fee for the Atlantic Caravan?

Yes, there will be a small registration fee to help cover the costs of events along the journey.

When does Atlantic Caravan registration open?

Registration is OPEN NOW – Contact Jeff “Zipity” Duda at [email protected].

Is the registration fee refundable?

Yes, 100% refundable up to June 1st, 2024.

How do a book hotel rooms along the route and in Bowling Green?

As Captain, I will work to secure rooms for everyone along the route. I will also work to secure rooms in Bowling Green. Most Bowling Green hotels will not commit at this point. Rooms have always been available in the past events, and there is more hotel room inventory now then ever before.

Is there a registration fee from the Corvette Museum for the Caravan & Anniversary Celebration?

As of November 1, 2023, registration is open! You can register here. Registration is $50 for Lifetime Members; $60 for Members; $85 for Non-Members. Those who pre-register will receive a commemorative event program, lapel pin, dash plaque, lanyard and personalized hard card event credential. On-site registration will be $60 for Lifetime Members; $70 for Members and $95 for Non-Members. Those who register onsite will receive a commemorative event program.

How long will we be driving each day?

The goal is to drive less than 350 miles per day, driving completely during the day. We will take frequent rest stops along the route.

Are there other things to do beside “Corvette Stuff” on the trip?

Yes, we will have plenty of planned and individual events and excursions to enjoy that are not Corvette related.

How do you keep hundreds of Corvettes together on the road?

The simple answer is we don’t. However, we do drive in large groups, and you will have a printed route map showing all the planned stops for every day of the trip.

What should I budget for the entire trip?

This depends on a lot of different factors, however after participating in the past four caravans, I would recommend to budget between $4,000 to $5,000 for two people. This includes lodging, food, fuel and souvenirs.

I have an older Corvette and can not drive as fast as the newer C8’s and C7’s, how do you accommodate this?

We work to group like generations and driving styles together so that you are traveling in a group at all times.  We don’t leave anyone behind and the Caravan will move as fast as the slowest car.  We encourage older cars on the trip, in past events we had every generation on the trip C1 through C7’s, and now the C8.
