America’s Sports Car… an exciting legend produced only in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Museum features over 80 Corvettes in periodic settings, including mint classics, one-of-a-kind prototypes and modern-day wonders of engineering and design. Test your knowledge at interactive trivia kiosks, and don’t miss the chance to try a Corvette on for size in our lobby where we have a 2015 Stingray waiting for you. Displays continually rotate so no two visits are the same. Round out your visit with a souvenir from the Corvette Store, grab a bite to eat in the Corvette Cafe, and race over to the NCM Motorsports Park to spectate or take a lap!

Museum in Motion Tours bring Corvette enthusiasts together to enjoy driving their Corvettes and visiting new, unique, interesting and exciting venues. Join us as we explore our some of the most unique and awe inspiring landscapes America has to offer. With visits to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, Glen Canyon Dam, Monument Valley, and Canyonlands National Park we you will get to enjoy some of the crown jewels of the National Park system

Bryce Canyon, which despite its name, is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. Bryce sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet

2018 will usher in the 9th annual KY 1 Lap tour, part of the Museum in Motion (MiM) program and unique in that it is a partnership between the National Corvette Museum and the Kentucky State Police. The two organizations will join to raise money for both the Museum and Trooper Island, a KSP non-profit camp for underprivileged children. Each year the Tour explores a different section of Kentucky. As always, the tour will be led by TPR. Jonathan Biven – Trooper Island Camp Director now using a newly painted marked silver Corvette which is sure to attract attention as the caravan travels through an area of real Americana.  This year are discovering some of our main attractions that have made KY famous. Bourbon, Horses, and new to KY is the Ark Encounter – a life size Noah’s Ark.

Due to overwhelming interest, we are offering this tour 4 consecutive weeks in October.

  • Tour 1 – Oct. 8 through Oct. 13
  • Tour 2 – Oct. 15 through Oct. 20
  • Tour 3 – Oct. 22 through Oct. 27
  • Tour 4 – Oct. 29 through Nov. 2

** Tour 4 will be going to Buffalo Trace Distillery and the KY Horse Park instead of Taylormade Farms and Keeneland

Taylor Made is an 1,100 acre Thoroughbred paradise located in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Upon arrival, you will be treated like a part of the Taylor Family and get to see firsthand what it takes to make a Champion! As your experience begins, you and your farm host will visit a mare & foal division where you will see the foaling quarters, paddocks, and of course the future stars! You’ll then make you way to a yearling division where you’ll learn about the transition from weanlings to yearlings. Finally, you’ll visit the Stallion Complex. Please note: Tours at Taylor Made last about 1-1.5 hours and are a combination of walking and driving. The tour is suitable for all ages. Photos and videos are encouraged. Take a guided tour through the factory where Louisville Slugger bats are crafted with the same pride that started in 1884. The Kentucky Derby Museum takes visitors through every stage of a Thoroughbred’s life, from birth to the First Saturday in May. Vette City Motorcycle Music Fest @ National Corvette Museum

TWO DAY MUSIC FESTIVAL AT THE NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM

The Bowling Green Daily News and D93 are hosting the inaugural VETTE CITY MOTORCYCLE MUSIC FEST on October 12th & 13th, 2018. There will be 14 bands playing including Friday nights headliner Gretchen Wilson and Saturday night they will have Bret Michaels. Other notables include the Kentucky Headhunters, Pat Travers, David Lee Murphy, The Georgia Satellites, Lita Ford and Foghat.

Fully self-contained RV camping will be available, they will have The Globe Of Death (stunt team), Dyno Drags, custom Bike & Soundoff Show, custom Car & Truck Show, a Fire Show, food vendors, merchandise vendors, two poker runs, a big kids zone, and a organized ride on Saturday morning. Museum admission is included in the ticket. The Vette City Motorcycle Music Fest promises to be two big days of fun and entertainment.

Arrangements have been made for our membership to receive a 40% discount on ticket prices, just go to www.vettecitymmf.com and order your tickets.
