America’s Sports Car… an exciting legend produced only in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Museum features over 80 Corvettes in periodic settings, including mint classics, one-of-a-kind prototypes and modern-day wonders of engineering and design. Test your knowledge at interactive trivia kiosks, and don’t miss the chance to try a Corvette on for size in our lobby where we have a 2015 Stingray waiting for you. Displays continually rotate so no two visits are the same. Round out your visit with a souvenir from the Corvette Store, grab a bite to eat in the Corvette Cafe, and race over to the NCM Motorsports Park to spectate or take a lap!

Kickoff of the NCM on site event season. As in past years there will be a large contingent of GM engineers and designers from Warren Tech Center, and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant ready to answer your every question. Back this year will be our Corvette Racing Program Manager Doug Fehan, Paul Pearson with his 7th gen infotainment / navigation seminar as well as Jim Mero Discussing his time testing out the 7th Generation Corvette Nürburgring. Also, back to Bash is our LT4 Engine building demonstration by BGAP.

Returning activities include a seminar and classroom sessions by GM certified Corvette Technician Paul Koerner. Enjoy guided road tours, two celebrity choice car shows, the Ladies’ Oasis, and the expanded Garage Party with women of the GM Corvette Team. The ladies will cover all aspects of Corvettes including maintenance, engineering and even high- performance driving (ladies only).

On-line registration closes at 8:00am central time on Tuesday, April 2nd. All activities are open to Event Registrants only. On-line registrants will receive a hardcard credential, lanyard, event pin and dash plaque. Lifetime registration is $15pp, member registration is $20pp and non-member registration is $30pp.

Motorsports Park Corvette Experience

Ever dreamed of driving America’s Sports Car? How about on a race track? Now you can at NCM Motorsports Park! Get behind the wheel of a 2017 Corvette Stingray Z51 for laps around our 3.15 mile road course, built for speed! Our Corvette Experience gives you a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice on the track. You must be 18 years or older to participate with a valid driver’s license. Participants must sign a Vehicle Damage Policy and Indemnity Agreement.

Join us for our 2nd annual Shifting & Shooting event at the scenic 2,000-acre Rockcastle Shooting Center. Begin with a scenic drive on our KY back-roads. Then, shoot for fun or for points with a trophy awarded to the winner. Lunch, ammunition, and firearms will be provided with Range Officers at each station to ensure a fun and safe event.

 To keep the playing field level, we ask that you use the provided firearms. You may bring your own handgun for target practice between events, but you must provide your own ammunition if you do. This should be an action-packed day of firing range fun with Corvette friends.

Swope Museum features antique cars from different eras for your viewing pleasure. They feature cars from the early 1900’s to the 1960’s of all makes and models. Enjoy the vintage car library and a do-it-yourself car video theater. Then onto lunch at Back Home Restaurant. If you are in the mood for some good ole’ family cooking and a great local shopping experience, this is for you!

KSP Trooper Island Camp was developed by the Kentucky State Police as part of a long-range program of public service to the youth of Kentucky: a place where the tensions and turmoil of our everyday lives can be forgotten; and for one-week young people can be given a touch of hope and desire of a better tomorrow.

Watch as the Performance Build Center Team completely disassembles and reassembles an LT4 engine from top to bottom.  Feel free to ask the team about the parts, the engine, and the process during the build.  After the team has finished building the engine from the bare block they will talk about the testing, sequencing, and other processes to get the final engine ready to go in a Z06 Corvette.

In the 1820’s, at Linkumpinch Farm near present-day Franklin, Kentucky, matters of honor were settled with the firing of pistols. A man’s reputation was restored when a musket ball found its target. And the area surrounding Sandford Duncan’s Farm soon came to be known as the Dueling Grounds. We will visit Dueling Grounds Distillery where they produce Linkumpinch Bourbon.

Spring in the Smokies, Tail of the Dragon and Biltmore all combined in one great MiM tour. Once again we hit the road, leaving Bowling Green and heading East to run the famous TN-129, aka Tail of the Dragon. This year again, we will be staying at the beautiful Biltmore Inn on the Biltmore Estate grounds. The Monday Biltmore visit includes a specially arranged early morning photo op of the cars in front of the manor house followed by breakfast in the Biltmore Stable Café adjacent to the house. Included in our Biltmore plans are your choice of 1 specialty tour: The Legacy of the Land Tour, Rooftop Tour, Wine & Chocolate, Upstairs/Downstairs Tour or the Horse & Carriage Ride. Lunch will be at the Deer Park Restaurant on the grounds. After hours – enjoy a special private guided tour of the Mansion. New friends will be made while enjoying one of the most beautiful areas of the country during the colorful spring season. GPS as well as two-way radios highly recommended!

7:45am – 9:00am Breakfast Buffet at Biltmore Stable Café
Adjacent to Biltmore House, the stable, which originally housed George Vanderbilt’s horses and carriages, has been renovated into a beautiful restaurant. This special venue offers seating in former stalls and the hayloft area where we will be seated.

  • Legacy of the Land Tour– take a motor coach tour of the estate and learn about the history of the land, structures, and former residents. You’ll visit areas not open to guests.
  • Architech’s Tour – Enjoy amazing views from rooftops and balconies and get a closer look at the design and construction of Biltmore House with this 60-minute guided tour of areas not on the regular house visit.
  • Biltmore Revealed Tour – Enjoy an exclusive glimpse of the Archives and unrestored rooms of Biltmore House with this behind the scenes guided tour. As a century of preservation efforts and room restoration projects are revealed, you will discover what it takes to maintain America’s Largest Home
  • Wine & Chocolate – Discover why chocolate and red wine are a match made in heaven.   (THIS TOUR IS IN THE AFTERNOON)
  • Horse & Carriage Ride – 30 min ride – Travel through the estate on an 8-passenger wagonette and enjoy unforgettable views

Deerpark Restaurant is housed in a historic barn original to the estate. Enjoy prepared–to–order specialties in addition to classic favorites. The delightful courtyard restaurant specializes in Southern family–style dishes. Enjoy our Taste of the South lunch and brunch buffets highlighting regional Southern flavors drawn from the Carolina Coast, Low Country, Southern Appalachians, and Louisiana.

A stop at the Winery is a must for anyone who enjoys good food and wine – complimentary wine tastings will be offered in the Tasting Room throughout the day and visit the Barn, Farmland, and Kitchen Garden to learn more about Biltmore’s agricultural heritage. Before leaving the Village, be sure to pop in the Legacy Exhibit Hall to see the exhibit on display at the time or relax on the Village Green. 
 
4:45pm – 6:15pm NCM Private Guided Evening Visit – Biltmore House
A visit to America’s largest home is a most memorable experience. Cross the threshold into a world of hospitality, beauty, and luxury that has remained virtually unchanged for more than a century. Hear the Biltmore story as you walk through the house with a knowledgeable guide.

The National Corvette Museum hosts the C4 Gathering along with the ZR-1 Net Registry http://www.zr1netregistry.com/, and the Grand Sport Registry http://www.grandsportregistry.com/. Open to all those interested in the 4th Generation Corvette, these two organizations and the NCM are working to bring participants activities, seminars, road tours, MSP touring laps, and Karting along with information specific to their interest in this generation of Corvette.

On-line registration is now Open! Pre-registration closes at 5:00pm central time on Monday, May 6th. Activities are open to Event Registrants only.

NCM Member Registration is $20pp and Non-Member Registration is $30pp. All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative hardcard credential, lanyard, and event pin.
