Please review all requirements before purchasing tickets.

Ticketing & Scheduling

  • All tickets must be purchased online in advance. Tickets are not sold at the Museum, plant, or entry gate.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be changed after purchase.
  • Plant and Museum combo tickets must be used on the same day.
  • Tours begin at the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant.
  • Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time.
  • Walk-ups and unscheduled attendees are not permitted.

Safety Requirements

  • Participants must be age 13 or older.
  • Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required. High heels are not permitted.
  • No cameras, phones, smartwatches, tablets, or other electronics are allowed inside the plant.
  • No bags, purses, backpacks, or totes are permitted unless medically necessary.
  • Printed tickets are required for entry.

Accessibility & Guest Comfort

  • Wheelchairs are available upon request.
  • Restroom access is not available once the tour begins. Guests are encouraged to use restroom facilities prior to departure.
  • Tours include extended standing and walking.
  • This experience takes place inside an active manufacturing facility and may not be suitable for guests who are sensitive to loud noises, flashing lights, or extended standing/walking.
  • Guests requiring a service animal must submit a written request to the Museum at least 10 business days prior to their scheduled tour date.
  • All non-UAW-built vehicles must park in Lot C3.

Plant Operations

  • Due to General Motors production scheduling, plant operations may vary during your tour.
  • Guided tours continue even if production is paused.
  • Refunds or discounts are not provided if production is paused during your visit.
  • Plant tours may be unavailable during blackout dates or scheduled shutdown periods.
