Established in 2013, Auto Armor was born from a journey that led us from running a body shop and custom paint business to mastering the art of protecting some of the most beautiful cars on the planet. I moved from Northern California to Tennessee to be closer to the National Corvette Museum, a decision that would significantly impact not only our lives but also the automotive protection industry. After undergoing intensive training and selecting the best materials available, we founded Auto Armor with a mission to protect Corvettes before they hit the road.

Our services include installing paint protection film, ceramic coating, and additional protections like windshield protection and radiator guards. The process we have developed for Corvettes is unorthodox and one-of-a-kind, featuring packages specifically designed to meet the unique needs of these vehicles. Katelyn, also known as Kat, has been instrumental in our business, both as my wife and as the creator of the R8C pre-delivery program. This innovative program allows us to protect cars before their owners take delivery at the National Corvette Museum, a service born from our deep understanding of our client’s needs. Whether it is fulfilling a lifelong dream or protecting a newly purchased sports car, our goal is to ensure every Corvette receives the best possible protection.

In 2023, Kat and I experienced the joy of Corvette ownership firsthand. With the help of friends and a bit of luck, we secured an allocation for a 2023 70th Anniversary White Pearl Corvette Z06. We went through the same pre-delivery process as our clients, gaining invaluable insight into their experiences and reinforcing our commitment to excellence. Our journey with Auto Armor has been blessed with the support of our clients and friends. We proudly remain an owner-operated business, dedicated to the highest standards in everything we do. While perfection is unattainable, we strive to be unique and deliver exceptional quality in all our installations and materials. We drink the Kool-Aid with our clients, sharing their passion for these remarkable vehicles. Our commitment to providing peace of mind through superior protection continues to drive us, and we are grateful for the trust and support of our community as we move forward.

How to Schedule a Service Appointment with Auto Armor:

At Auto Armor, we have streamlined the process of getting your vehicle on our schedule.

Step One: Call us at 615-553-4015 and speak to our Corvette specialist who will discuss various service packages with you to determine the best fit for your vehicle. This personalized consultation ensures that your specific requirements are met. We are excited to tailor every detail to your needs. To simplify your decision-making, we can provide a detailed, personalized menu via email that highlights all our top-notch services.

Step Two: Once you have selected a package and received your tentative delivery date from the Museum, we will confirm your appointment and send you the necessary paperwork. This will include an email thread with the Museum to coordinate the timely arrival of your Corvette before its official delivery date.

Step Three: From this point forward, maintaining open communication is our top priority. Staying in touch with our clients via email at autoarmor@nomorenix.com for any questions, changes, or updates regarding your service. We are here to support you every step of the way and ensure a smooth and exceptional experience. As soon as we receive your vehicle, you will receive a “Proof of Life” video, which highlights your car in real-time and brings your dream of owning a protected Corvette closer to reality. Throughout the entire installation process, we will send you updated videos to keep you informed and excited about the progress of our work.

For alternative scheduling options, you may email us directly at autoarmor@nomorenix.com or visit us online at nomorenix.com for more information about our services and contact details.

Delivered with the R8C option code and full VIP National Corvette Museum delivery experience, the Garner’s factory-fresh Artic White Stingray Convertible received a thundering boom of applause as it excited the Museum’s Corvette Boulevard, marking not only the historic VIN but also the start of 2024 model year deliveries at the Museum.

The story and car are even more special for the Garners, who previously owned a 2019 Watkins Glen Grey Corvette Grand Sport which was damaged by a storm in their nearby home of Smiths Grove, Kentucky. The Corvette was insured by NCM Insurance, the leading provider of client-focused collector car insurance, catering to the needs of automotive enthusiasts and collectors across the country. With NCM insurance at their side, the expedited claim process and customer service made the timing to take delivery of VIN #001 easier and more efficient.

“The new Corvette is an amazing car, and I’m most excited to get out and enjoy a drive,” explained owner Jeff Garner. “Our 2019 was a special car as that was a gift from my wife Missy, but to have a VIN #001 car, and take delivery at the Museum, makes this my dream Corvette.”

While the Garner’s VIN #001 is a unique car, the R8C delivery is an adventure like no other and a memorable addition to your new Corvette purchase. Thousands of enthusiasts take delivery of their new Corvette at the National Corvette Museum each year. Available through any Chevrolet Dealer, when specified during ordering, R8C customers are welcomed with signs and a guided VIP tour of the Museum where their car is displayed on Corvette Boulevard, followed by an orientation and presentation of their new vehicle. Customers also receive a one-year individual membership to the National Corvette Museum, a unique gold decal on the inside of the driver’s door jamb, and a commemorative wall plaque with the customer’s name, date of delivery, and VIN.

On July 2nd, the National Corvette Museum proudly celebrated the R8C Delivery Program’s 14,000th Corvette Delivery. John and Gina Engel had no idea that they would be the 14,000th delivery customers when they chose the R8C Delivery option. John and Gina’s first visit to the Museum was a trip to remember because they also became Corvette owners for the first time. The Engel’s journey from Omaha, NE to Bowling Green, KY to pick up their new 2021 Red Mist Corvette Coupe was undoubtedly well worth it.

The Engel’s chose R8C Delivery so that they could make the process of picking up their new Corvette an extra special occasion. The R8C delivery option is available through any Chevrolet Dealer at an added cost of $995.00. During their Museum visit, R8C Delivery customers are given a VIP guided tour, a quality orientation, a thorough delivery presentation of their new Corvette, and even more. John and Gina shared that having a delivery host walk them through the car was “so nice” and made them feel “more comfortable” about handling the 2021 Corvette themselves.

After the Engel’s day at the Museum, John shared that he recommends Corvette buyers to consider doing R8C Museum Delivery because of everything it includes. The National Corvette Museum has offered the option of Museum Delivery since 1995 and is extremely grateful for the 14,000 customers that have shown their support over the years. The goal of the R8C Museum Delivery Program is to allow new Corvette Owners to have an exclusive and memorable experience. The Museum is incredibly happy that it could create this special moment for the 14,000th time.

Having never done Museum Delivery, Allan says that they chose R8C because they heard that it was a great experience.

Allan and Sara Theriault with David and Rita Pentz

Allan says that “this Ceramic Matrix Gray Corvette is more than likely the last Corvette. [They] wanted to do it with a bang.” They added an element to their delivery to showcase their “gratitude and appreciation to the Museum.” The Theriault’s sign on their Corvette reads: “We would like to thank the Corvette Museum for making dreams come true! Hi everyone watching!” Allan states that Museum Delivery “makes you feel like you are the king of the roost. Anyone can take delivery at a dealership but, this is something special.”

Having not visited in more than 15 years, Allan and Sara “couldn’t have asked for a better day” and even became members of the National Corvette Museum. The Theriault’s are also members of Leisure Time Corvette Club and Village Vettes.

Joined by their neighbors, David and Rita Pentz, who are also Corvette owners, Allan and Sara recommend everyone to “try it because it’s an experience that you can’t get anywhere else.

This week, Lifetime Museum Members, Wayne and PJ Ray, were able to pick up their brand-new 2021 Zeus Bronze C8 Stingray. As this car would replace their current 2015 C7 Corvette, they needed to find the C7 a new home. Wayne and PJ decided to give their Blade Silver C7 Stingray to their son, Rick, who also loves Corvettes. Rather than simply telling Rick their intentions, the Rays decided to make the gesture extra special by surprising Rick with his own NCM Delivery Experience.

Featured from Left to Right are: PJ, Wayne, Rick, Heidi, and Nicholas Ray.

Wayne and PJ did a great job keeping the secret, as their son had no idea they were surprising him with a Museum Delivery for the C7. Rick was brought to tears by his parent’s surprise and was extremely happy to be the new owner of the C7 stating he, “loves this car and has loved it since the day his parents bought it.” Rick will also enjoy the extra customizations his parents added over the years to make the car more original.

Rick’s wife, Heidi, and son, Nicholas, were also present for the heartwarming moment. Heidi mentioned that her husband, “has dreamed about having a Corvette since they met.” Rick and Heidi are Lifetime Legacy Members of the Museum, so they are thrilled to now be official Corvette owners. Nicholas thought his grandparents were just going to sign the car over to his father, so he was moved by the Museum Delivery Experience his grandparents set up as well. Nicholas said it was, “awesome” to see his father’s dream come true.

Logan had about five hoursworth of car Bingo to play with Vicky and his grandfather, Oscar on their way from Galena, OH to Bowling Green, KY… but what Logan didn’t know was where, exactly, they were headed. That is, until he started noticing billboards advertising the National Corvette Museum. “He’s our only grandson and he loves cars,” said Vicky. So it was fitting that the couple decided to include Logan in the R8C Delivery of their new 2017 Blade Silver Grand Sport Coupe on October 14.

“At first I didn’t know about the program, and didn’t originally opt for the R8C,” said Oscar. “But then when I saw you offered a children’s program that ties in with the R8C, I decided to add it.”

The Ed and Shari Glazer Family Delivery program was designed to encourage and welcome the participation of children and grandchildren in R8C Deliveries. Participating children receive a Museum t-shirt, scoop of ice cream from the Corvette Café, special photo, delivery plaque and more – all complimentary. The program was created and sponsored by Ed Glazer with the hope that other families could experience the incredible feeling that comes from taking delivery of a new Corvette with a family member, like he experienced with his father in 1983. Sharing a love of Corvettes, or even a love of cars in general, with the younger generation is a valuable bonding experience.

The Gees waited a few extra weeks to pick-up their Corvette so that Logan could be a part of it when school was not in session – and the wait was worth it. Logan had the pleasure of riding out of the Museum in the new Corvette, with a smile from ear to ear.

If you’re purchasing a new Corvette, consider choosing option R8C to take delivery of your car at the National Corvette Museum… and also consider bringing along a special child or grandchild with you to share in the joy!
For Abbie Watt’s 4th birthday, her grandfather, Tim Watts, had the perfect gift. As the owner of a 1963 Nassau Blue Corvette he wanted to share the hobby with his granddaughter, so he purchased her a 1963 Riverside Red battery operated Corvette. The only question was – how to present the gift to her in true Corvette fashion? As members of the National Corvette Museum, Tim and Debbie had heard of the R8C Corvette Delivery Program and the NCM Experience Program, so they contacted the Museum to see if something similar could be done with a child-sized Corvette.

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 the family traveled from Hendersonville, TN to present Abbie with her gift. Joining them in celebration were Abbie’s aunt, mom, dad and little sister. With her name in lights on Corvette Boulevard, and signage declaring the miniature collector car as hers – Abbie was presented with her iconic American Sports Car. Just like the models 54 years later that dot the Museum’s Boulevard, waiting to be picked up by their new owners, Abbie’s Corvette was driven out of the Museum in style, down Victory Lane, pausing for photos which illustrate that owning a Corvette really is Living the Dream.

Maybe we’ll see Abbie again in 12 years for an upgrade in Corvette size (hint, hint Grandpa)! But for now, we know her little sister is anxiously anticipating her turn to pickup a pint-sized Corvette at the Museum. Thank you to the Watts family for making Corvette memories with us!

Check out a video of Abbie’s experience at the National Corvette Museum below. To book your child’s special delivery, please contact Kellie Steen at 270-467-8852 or kellie@corvettemuseum.org.
