As for color lineup, Torch Red was the most popular again for 2021 with 5,171 of the cars in that hue. The complete final color lineup is as follows:

The Stingray Performance Package (Z51) was the most popular and selected for a total of 69.5% of the model year Corvettes. Front Lift was opted for on 61.1% of the cars while performance exhaust (NPP) is on 87.2%. For stripes, the carbon flash was the most popular and can be seen on 2,006 of the Corvettes. Of the total for the year, 361 were delivered to Japan, 246 to the Mideast, and 1,274 were delivered at the National Corvette Museum.

The Engel’s chose R8C Delivery so that they could make the process of picking up their new Corvette an extra special occasion. The R8C delivery option is available through any Chevrolet Dealer at an added cost of $995.00. During their Museum visit, R8C Delivery customers are given a VIP guided tour, a quality orientation, a thorough delivery presentation of their new Corvette, and even more. John and Gina shared that having a delivery host walk them through the car was “so nice” and made them feel “more comfortable” about handling the 2021 Corvette themselves.

After the Engel’s day at the Museum, John shared that he recommends Corvette buyers to consider doing R8C Museum Delivery because of everything it includes. Allan says that “this Ceramic Matrix Gray Corvette is more than likely the last Corvette. [They] wanted to do it with a bang.” They added an element to their delivery to showcase their “gratitude and appreciation to the Museum.” The Theriault’s sign on their Corvette reads: “We would like to thank the Corvette Museum for making dreams come true! Hi everyone watching!” Allan states that Museum Delivery “makes you feel like you are the king of the roost. Anyone can take delivery at a dealership but, this is something special.”

Having not visited in more than 15 years, Allan and Sara “couldn’t have asked for a better day” and even became members of the National Corvette Museum. The Theriault’s are also members of Leisure Time Corvette Club and Village Vettes.

Joined by their neighbors, David and Rita Pentz, who are also Corvette owners, Allan and Sara recommend everyone to “try it because it’s an experience that you can’t get anywhere else.

During the Corvette presentation on Friday, Harlan Charles described the Silver Flare as having a ‘lot of travel’ and looking very different as you walk around the car. The Red Mist was described as a ‘firey red, brighter than some of the ones we’ve previously done.’

Harlan and Tadge indicated that the very first 2021 validation cars are in the process of being built with Silver Mist being the first, and Red Mist being the fourth – so the opportunity to ‘see’ a full car in the color is forthcoming. Those cars are pre-production and gives the team a few months to check them out before building customer cars.
