Join us in Beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado for Four days exploring all that Colorado has to offer. While the full agenda is still being confirmed we will be packing in Colorado Springs historic landmarks, a Pike’s Peak drive, and some fabulous eateries along the way.

More than 15 other member organizations, as well as two international sports federations and the USOC headquarters are also located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Immediately Following | Depart for Airforce Academy The Barry Goldwater Visitors Center is a 35,000-square-foot facility offering information about the United States Air Force Academy, including films and exhibits on cadet life and Academy history. Visitors may also park in the Arnold Hall parking lot to reach the Cadet Chapel. This is still about a one-third-mile walk but with a more natural grade.

11:00am – 12:30pm | Depart to Explore Garden of the Gods Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark. Imagine dramatic views, 300′ towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. This world-class Visitor & Nature Center and museum is the most visited attraction in the region with all new interactive exhibits.

The Balanced Rock Cafe, is a great place to refuel after a day of sight-seeing and shopping.

1:30pm | Depart for Pike’s Peak Highway

2:00pm – 5:00pm | Afternoon Drive to Mile 16 of Pikes Peak The safe & scenic Pikes Peak Highway provides you the opportunity to enjoy 16 miles of mountain terrain, with frequent pull-offs for you to get out, stretch your legs, & take photos. Due to construction we will be able to drive to mile 16 parking area and shuttle to the summit (mile 19) from there.

12:30pm – 2:00pm | Arrive & Lunch at Airplane Restaurant The Airplane Restaurant centerpiece is a fully intact Boeing KC-97 tanker. Built in 1953, this magnificent airplane refueled aircraft throughout the world. Then, in May 2002, it began its second mission~ to be the preeminent aviation restaurant in the United States.
