Water Wheel Rounds – Hit Songwriters Show

Join us for this Water Wheel Round Hit Songwriters Show and listen to hit songs and their stories played by the people who actually wrote them like Wood Newton and Paul Jefferson. Newton wrote the classic Corvette hit song “Riding with Private Malone” and Jefferson is a number one hit writer who has co-written hits with country star Keith Urban. They will be joined by Nashville writer Joe Hash and Bowling Green writer Dan Modlin in an acoustic, listener-friendly show. The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Minor League Baseball Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, will be changing their name for one night only to the Bowling Green Sinkholes. While brandishing specialty jerseys to pay tribute to the 5-year anniversary of the sinkhole at the NCM, the jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting the National Corvette Museum. Though short, the five day meet features $10 million in purses, with a nation-leading average of $2 million in purses per day.
