The NCM Museum in Motion program which has featured tours around the United States now adds a Canadian tour to the lineup.  The successful program combines the fun of driving, socializing with other Corvette enthusiasts, sightseeing and visiting unique places.  In the past our tours have taken participants into places not usually accessible to the public including Milford Proving Ground, Consumer Reports Auto Test Division, GM Heritage Collection and Pratt & Miller to name a few. 

The 2011 MiM season continues with the Mosport Tour, July 19-24, with a tour through Ontario, Canada.  Meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, the 5-day tour will take the participants through Ontario enjoying back roads, resorts, quaint villages, a casino and ending with two days attending the ALMS race at the Mosport International Raceway.  In keeping with our practice of offering unique experiences the tour participants will be joining local Corvette clubs for activities including a Poker Run and winery visit along our route.     Along the way we will have VIP guest Ron Fellows, one of the newest members of the Corvette Hall of Fame joining us at dinner one evening. 

This event is limited to only 35 cars/70 participants and the fee covers hotels for 6 nights, the welcoming banquet on Tuesday night, July 19th; dinner on Wednesday evening, the 20th, at the Hockley Valley Resort, a boat ride and BBQ with a Corvettes of Durham club in Port Perry, Ontario and corral access for two days at Mosport.  At the track attendees will enjoy corral parking, access to the paddock, parade lap, celebrity car show and a BBQ lunch on Sunday of the race.

For members the tour fee is $1700 for the driver and $390 for their guest.  Non-member fees are an additional $40 each and include a Museum membership.  The Museum in Motion tours are very popular and with limited space it’s important to sign up promptly while there is still space. 

Special Event Notes:  You will need a passport to enter Canada and return to the U.S. Check with your auto insurance carrier to get a Canadian visitor insurance card and bring chairs.  To enter the assembly plants the usual rules apply; no open toe shoes; no purses, fanny packs, bags; no cameras or cell phones.
