I saw you many times and met you once. You always had a smile on your face even after Zora had left us. Wonder which Corvette you two are riding in up there?
Thank you.

She was truely a great woman and was the love of Zora's life. One of the best Corvette memories was at Carlisle and waiting in line to get an autograph. I came to Elfi first and was talking to her. She was so kind, even though it was in the 90's and she had talked to 1000's of people before me. Just a genuine sweetness that is lacking in today society. Zora heard us talking and he jokingly told me to stop trying to pick up his lady. We had a good laugh and that was the highlight of the day.
Joshua (my son) remembers when he was 3 and we were at the 5th Anniversary of the NCM. Elfi was there and she signed the sleeve of the Corvette shirt he was wearing (he still has it as one of his favorite keepsakes). She made him the center of her attention and I was trying to move along because there were a lot of people that were waiting in line. She said they would all wait for her, she was having a good time talking with Joshua and he was sooo cute.
We have lost a very special lady. God bless you Elfi.

Elfi will be sorely missed. She was more than just the "First Lady of Corvette". She was a true ambassador with class. I will forever remember her and Zora standing on Corvette Drive to wave at all the Corvettes going by for the NCM's First Anniversary. May God also bless her and Zora.

I'm an avid Corvette nut. I'm currently on my 5th Vette after procuring my first one in 1972. I follow the ALMS races even to Le Mans. I guess I owe my thanks to Elfi & Zora for keeping me on the Corvette track. I have been to the Museum and am a member currently.

I had the pleasure of meeting this great lady and Zora at a special Birthday party for Zora in the early 90's giving by the Straight-axle Corvette Club of Orlando and at Cypress Gardens in Florida when the National Corvette Restores held their Florida Chapter Annual meeting there and I worked at the Gardens. Being a long time Corvette owner since 1961, I still own my '61, and a member of Central Ohio Corvette Club which was one of original seven clubs, it was a big thrill to meet Corvette History and such a pleasure to witness what a true partnership is between two loving people. We all felt such great love and respect for these two caring people. They will always be in my heart and we know they are back together again. Let's us celebrate their lives.
